Posted on October 21, 2026 by Allister Pimlott
Efficient and Reliable Car Servicing in Croston is what Blackmoor Garage is known for. Being part of the local community since 1936, it has built a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and a personal touch that is often missed with larger main agents. Based in Mawdesley, but extending its services to Croston, Blackmoor Garage combines the best of both worlds – the capacity to deliver and the personal care that comes with being a small business.
Why Choose Us for Efficient and Reliable Car Servicing in Croston?
At Blackmoor Garage, we are a small team consisting of two mechanics and myself, Allister. Despite our size, we are in the green area by a significant margin in the VOSA risk assessment. This indicates our commitment to best practices and strict adherence to MOT rules. With us, rest assured that your vehicle is in safe hands. While our primary goal is to pass your vehicle, we also make it a point to inform you about any future maintenance or repair needs. This ‘pass and advise’ approach sets us apart from other testing stations.
Unlike other garages offering cheap MOT’s, we believe in value for money. If we can fix small items such as lights and wipers at the time of test, we will do so, charging only for the cost of the parts. We ensure fairness in our pricing, without any hidden or inflated charges.
Our Efficient and Reliable Car Servicing in Croston includes:
- Regular Maintenance

- General Repairs
